Nana the Calf, a fresh graduate from the TAU Calf Hutch Academy, has big dreams for a dairy cow. Lacking a good example in her fractious mother, (who goes by the stage name Stormy) and her absentee father, Nana has found an unexpected role model in Julia Child and her cookbook The French Chef. Inspired by Child’s extensive use of dairy products, (especially lots of butter), Nana believes there is a place for a Holstein in the illustrious halls of the Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School in Paris. Having trained her palate by milk tasting for the past two months prior to weaning, she feels she is ready to move on to higher culinary arts, and wants to share her newest recipes with students as Thanksgiving approaches!
