This particular goat was sold to my niece as a pet, but he is turning into a fine hiking goat that I use when I go to South Carolina. He was a bottle baby that I purchased and raised, but I give the credit for his current leash skills to my mother who has turned out to be really good at finishing out baby goats.

Position in the pack string – The unemployed guy who wants to be employed. He loves having a job. Any job. Anything at all. Any trail at all in fact!

He enjoys being in the lead, which is unusual for a goat. The stick is to keep him from sticking his head in things and getting stuck – just like Dogo. Must be an Alpine thing.
