Head of TAU’s own branch of SETI, Summer Slump (Cow #504) is helping push back the boundaries of science. Having noticed that cows feature prominently in UFO encounters and sightings, Summer has decided that a cow may just have the best chance at first contact. In her efforts to contact extraterrestrial intelligence, she is heading up several projects with our beef cattle herd, including the construction of the vet school’s first cow produced crop circle, fundraiser drives to install a large radio antenna in pasture C, and organizing anti-cow mutilation patrols to locate hostile aliens before they attack. Even after being injured by a stick to the nose this summer during crop circle production Summer continued unperturbed in her quest to communicate with aliens. We salute the resolve of this week’s TAU Animal of the Week!
